DRYER VENT CLEANING DUE 2025

         One of the important maintenance and safety issues you can have performed is the cleaning of your dryer vent. The leading cause of dryer fires in the US is lack of maintenance. Periodic maintenance in turn will save you money by extending the life of your dryer and drying your items more efficiently the first time through. 

        All dryer vents MUST be cleaned at least once every other year, on the odd years. A receipt from a licensed and insured vent/air duct cleaning company will be accepted as proof of the maintenance having been completed. Individual homeowners MAY NOT perform the maintenance themselves due to the lack of Insurance coverage in the event of a dryer related fire. THE DEADLINE FOR COMPLETING THIS MAINTENANCE IS JULY 6, 2025. You may complete the Dryer vent form and attach your receipt by logging into PayHOA and in the Tool Bar select “Requests” and choose the dryer vent form or email (dawn@burlprop.com) or mail a copy of your receipt to the management company. Please always maintain the original receipt for your records.  

 

        If you are unsure of whom to select to perform this service, feel free to contact the property management office and you will be given contact information on contractors whom others within the community have used and been pleased with. 

 

        Your community website, cliftonmill.org, also has a vendor section that lists vendor information for those contractors your community members have sent in to us. Your community Facebook page and/or neighbors are also an excellent source for contractors. Please note that while Burlington Property Services can provide this information, we do NOT provide specific recommendations as we do not employ any of these contractors directly.
